How can I travel to the cottage?

The cottage is easy to find in the heart of Snowdonia. Visit our directions page to learn more.

The cottage is also accessible by train to Bangor or Porthmadog railway stations and is served by bus routes.


How is the Cottage heated/cooled?

Night storage heaters provide heating (included in the price), this can be topped up if needed by using the log burner.

In the summer the two foot thick stone walls help to keep the cottage cool!


Do you provide secure parking?

Loading and unloading outside the cottage is permitted.

There are four off-road parking bays (first come first served) 10 metres from the cottage and on street parking just past those bays.

Further off road parking can be found by crossing over the small bridge towards the hotel.


Why do you charge a security deposit?

The security deposit covers non-neglible damage to the property, and is normally refunded within 7 days of departure.


Is there a bath?

There is only a shower available.


Is the property suitable for elderly people?

In general yes, but if you depend on a walking stick, the staircase might be considered slightly steep.
