The village

Clydfan is less than a minutes walk from the centre of the village with amenities that include a well stocked village shop, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The cottage is in a stunning riverside location where you can enjoy alfresco dining during the spring and summer months.

Beddgelert is set amongst stunning scenery and has much to offer those who  enjoy outdoor activities or who are seeking a quiet getaway.

There are pretty walks around the village and along the river. You can take a train ride on the Welsh Highland Railway to explore the surrounding countryside or hike one of Snowdon’s prettiest walks, the Watkin path, accessible just a kilometre from the cottage. Alternatively, simply relax in one of the cafes or pubs and enjoy a leisurely lunch.

 The wider area offers plenty of attractions.

The coastal  towns of Porthmadog and Caernarfon are within easy reach, as are Bodnant Gardens, the Portmeirion Village, Glaslyn Osprey Project, Tree Top Adventures, Zipline World and the Sygun Copper Mine.
